Purpose (a prayer of thanksgiving)

Thank You, Adonai, for the purposes You have for me and my life: Today, this week, this month, this year, this decade, and this life. Help me live them.

I know how unworthy I am of Your purposes. I am finite, sinful, and deserve death. Yet, You use me. I am humbled. Thank You.

Help me not get sidetracked and to stay on task from the purpose You have for me in the now.

May all I do point to You and bring You glory. May everything I do share the Good News that Yeshua is Messiah (Jesus is the Savior and Redeemer).

I love You, Lord. Let my life be Yours. Use me.

Confessions of a Bible-nut

So I have another confession. I am a nut. With my favorite translation of the Bible. I am a walking storefront of my favorite version of the Bible. Want to see what possibilities there are? I have a thinline, medium print, large print, and giant print. The main Bible I have chosen, though, is the thinline, smaller print version because it is easy for me to carry and pace as I pray from it. It's also easy for me to carry it everywhere.

Do not be silent (at certain times)

There are times to be silent, like when we are with the Father. We need to listen far more than we speak. We miss out on much when we fail to hush and listen. (Sidenote: And isn't it funny/sad how we can say then how we are concerned because we haven't heard from the Lord?) However, there are times when we must not remain silent.
