Protests tomorrow

This week, we have heard about over 2,000 protests being set up in the US, after those in LA, to challenge our government, to riot, to cause civil unrest, to lead to another civil war. 

The worst part is the No Kings Protests are saying that it is in the name of democracy and are using words to make it sound like they are good, when they are anything but. Just because you use words that are defined specifically in the dictionary, and try to assign to it new meanings, it does not make it legit, real, or right. Nor does this make things truthful.

They are taking a word "Democracy" and are saying that they are for it. 

When was the last time rioting was okay and acceptable?

Never mind how this protest is saying that our president is an authoritarian. Again, clearly they have never read the dictionary. And they are assigning new definitions to that word.

Hmm. Makes me think of some Bible verses that talk about this and there is a clear warning that God (Adonai) gives. Take a look at Isaiah 5:20. Therein, it warns those that call evil good and good evil. This is something to take seriously. But then again, in our world, people don't take Adonai seriously, never mind the Bible (and this includes some who call themselves believers in Jesus/Yeshua).

Needless to say, everything that these protests stand for are lies and deception. And people are falling for them hook, line, and sinker. This breaks my heart.

Prayer: Abba, our eyes to the truth. Remover our blinders.

There should be prayer meetings and prayer walks all over the US because of this. Has this been done around you? Have you sacrificed some sleep and free-time for this?

Prayer: Father God, help us to get serious about our faith and get serious about prayer. Then, help our nation. Protect us. Help Americans and believers take a stand and go against what we saw in LA. Help us stand against the protests and riots. Let our voices be heard. Let us do this through counterprotests, where we play patriotic songs and worship songs, waver American flags, wave at people, smile, and pray. Let us be true peacemakers and not cause trouble. Let us show that we support the fact that the USA is a nation based on these premises: 

In God we trust. 

We are one nation under God.
