A Quiet Moment: Birdies

I pause. I take a moment to look around. I see two robins drinking out of our bird bath, a sight I have only seen one other time. I also see tufted titmouses eating peanuts I just put out for them in a handful on the drink railing of our deck.

The electric fireplace is keeping me warmer. I seem to be quite chilly for some reason today.

I see all the leaves on the ground and realize all the leaves that still need to fall from the trees.

A robin is now bathing in the birdbath, flapping its wings. Its pale red-orange is now deep red-orange.

There is a slight breeze.

All of these are glory-sightings. I would have missed them if I hadn't stopped to breathe.

Thank You, Lord. Your creation is beautiful and perfect. Thank You for the sights and for the joy the sights bring me. Glory! I praise You. Hallelujah!
