A Prayer at the Start of the Day

I read through and pray Deuteronomy 6:4-7 before I even get out of bed.

Then I pray:

Eternal God, Holy One, Most High,

You alone are God. There is none like You.

This day is Yours, not mine.

Help me avoid anything not of You.

Help me remain in You, in Your Word, in prayer, and in thanksgiving all day.

Help me glorify You in all I do. For You alone deserve glory, honor, and praise.

Thank You for this day, one in which I can serve You and love You.
