This day of rest, part 2
I got some coffee.
Sinan the Orange found me right away and is warming me up as he is snuggled between my ankles again. And the crows that had been quiet are making a great deal of noise. The sunshine is kissing the trunks of the trees in back of us. And I still cannot believe how many trees in back of us held on to their leaves all winter. The water filters of the turtle tanks are also making a great deal of noise. I feel the warmth of the cat between my ankles.
A cloud just moved over the sun so it got a little dark for a moment.
Last night was the 7 planet parade where 7 lined up in a line. It's the last time that will happen until 2040. And it was the New Moon.
It is now Rosh Chodesh and the 1st day of Adar.
I just realized something I have not done lately, and I cannot help but think, it is no wonder why I am so exhausted. I have not spent an extended period of time worshipping, praising, and thanking the Lord. I should probably rectify that.
But first, I am feeling the pull to curl up with the Bible and meet with God there, which is what I shall do. This feels like it is the most pressing need in the moment.
