Stress and plans

Adonai woke me this morning with some revelations. I had a good night of sleep so He came through very clearly.

I stress myself out by planning and trying to get things done by my own accord. My writing is proof of this..There is always so much to do, with my writing and with life.

God told me this morning I am to live by His Word. I am to focus my thoughts in the things above (Colossians 3:1-2), take my thoughts captive (2 Corinthians 10:5-7), and think on these things (Philippians 4:8). I am to live by the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:23-24). And most of all, I am to remain in Him and in His Word because I cannot do anything without Him (John 15:1-5).

He said if I am stressed by anything, especially by my plans, then I haven't been doing those things and I need to look at my plans. Then He added to do a study of plans.

I did a search of "plan" in the Bible.

Most of the 205 times plan was listed was of: plant, plants, planting, and planted.

The next most occurrences of "plan" were regarding God's plans.

Then the next most occurrences were wrong, evil, and foiled plans.

The only times plans by people were listed as good were in Proverbs and there were only 3, and all were made with God. They are:

Proverbs 16:3

Proverbs 16:9

Proverbs 19:21

One in Proverbs was a little of plan with God but evil can come if we are not careful:

Proverbs 21:5

If I am stressed because I have so much to do, am I living His plan, am I focusing on Him and the things above, am I rejoicing always (Philippians 4:6-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18), am I praying about everything (Philippians 4:6-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18), am I always giving thanks (Philippians 4:6-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18), am I remaining in Him and the Word, as I do the things that need to get done?

If I am stressed, it is because I have chosen to look at the wrong things, not at Him.
